Araucaria Angustifolia: Influence of Mother Tree Sex and Provenance in Grafting Success

The development of vegetative propagation programs Araucaria angustifolia still lacks on information about genetic factor that may influence its success. We aimed to evaluate how mother tree sex and provenance grafting So, we collected orthotropic branches from 26 trees male female, a clonal garden established matrices different provenances, carried out an experiment using patch technique. Grafting survival, number length shoots did not differ between provenance. absence significant variations no correlation with or indicates the morphological characteristics rootstocks shoots, environmental conditions after have more success grafting.
